How to Use Substrate
-
Prepare
- Clean your work area and tools with alcohol to maintain a sterile environment.
- Carefully open the sterile substrate bag.
-
Mix
- Break up the fully colonized grain and evenly mix it into the sterile substrate.
- Seal the bag tightly and compact the mixture.
-
Incubate
- Store the sealed bag in a dark, warm area.
- Allow the substrate to fully colonize over the next 2-3 weeks.

Fruit
- Once fully colonized, open the bag to introduce fresh air and light.
- Maintain humidity and wait for mushrooms to develop.
Results may vary, largely dependent on having a clean liquid culture and a sterile process.
