Add your liquid culture (sold separately) through the injection port, and you can grow up to 3 lbs of fresh mushrooms over multiple harvests.

What's inside the bag

  • 3 lbs sterilized milo sorghum grain: layered at the bottom of the bag for fast colonization.
  • 3 lbs nutrient-rich substrate: premium coco coir, vermiculite, gypsum, Azomite and worm castings.
  • Perfectly hydrated: no need to open the bag and mist before your first harvest.

How to use

  1. Inoculate: inject your liquid culture through the self-healing port. Culture is sold separately.
  2. Colonize: let the grain layer fully colonize, about 3 weeks.
  3. Mix: gently mix the grain into the substrate and pat the contents down.
  4. Colonize again: let the mycelium grow through the whole bag, about 3 more weeks.
  5. Fruit: fruit in the bag, or transfer to a fruiting chamber for more room.

Note: This bag contains no mushrooms or mushroom culture. It is a sterilized growing medium for home mushroom cultivation.
